La Grange Arthuis is located 175 km south of Paris, France, next to the small village Lavau in the outskirts of Bourgogne near by the Loire-valley 8 km from Saint Fargeau.

La Grange Arthuis is founded in the 16th century, build on the foundation of a fortress build by the temple knights in an area where Jeanne d’Arc and the cousin of Louis XIV, La Grande Mademoiselle, lived their lives.

The castle is today run as an active farm with traditional crops, wine production A.O.C. Coteaux du Giennois, forest and holiday and family accommodation.
